Communication Junction is a locally-owned small business, focusing on teaching infants, toddlers and preschoolers American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary.  Owner, Abbey Cook, is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and Master Signing Time Academy Instructor.  Communication Junction was voted one of Red Tricycle’s “2013 Totally Awesome Language Classes”, by families in our community. We offer a variety of group Sign and Play classes and Sign and Sing Story Times, created to improve communication with children and families. We believe sign language promotes early communication, reduces frustration and tantrums, improves reading skills and may even increase IQ.

Who We Are

I highly recommend Communication Junction to anyone with a new baby! I began taking my daughter, Mattie, to the weekly sign and stroll program when she was six months old. I enjoyed it so much that my husband and I signed up for an 8 week class called, "What is your baby thinking?". By 8 months old our little one was consistently signing milk and more. We have since taken two more classes and Mattie knows 14 signs at only 12 months old! We are so happy she is able to communicate with us. Thank you Abbey for helping us teach Mattie to communicate!
